Aaron Wilde
Aaron Wilde, JD

My interest in personal injury law began at a young age. My father, David A. Wilde, was a personal injury attorney. Every Sunday evening after visiting my grandparents, I would relentlessly pester my dad to stop at his law office to grab a soda. Occasionally Dad would give in. I loved exploring my dad’s office. Over the years I saw first-hand how many people my dad helped. I admired my dad’s service to others and I’m proud to have followed his footsteps into personal injury law.

I have worked with many wonderful people as an attorney. I worked for Utah’s first non-profit law firm to help bridge the justice gap by providing affordable legal services to low- and moderate-income people. Later I was fortunate enough to work under the guidance of Steve Sullivan at Robert J. DeBry & Associates as head of their Spanish Department.

I love my job. My clients and I have enjoyed working together as I helped them bring closure to difficult times in their lives. I fight for my clients when they are burdened with injuries and incoming bills. I make sure they receive fair compensation at the conclusion of their case. I understand the intricate details of personal injury law — statutes, regulations, case law, etc. — and I apply this knowledge to help maximize my clients’ chances of success.

I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. I later graduated from University of Utah’s law school with honors. I received recognition with various academic awards including the Cali award, Utah’s Outstanding Achievement Award, and was a William H. Leary Scholar.

When I am not busy at work, I enjoy going to the movies with my wife, two daughters, and son. I pretend to be good at basketball and snowboarding. I learned to speak fluent Spanish from serving a two-year mission for my church in Argentina.

Hal Armstrong has been an associate with Wilde Law since March 2023, although he and Aaron previously worked together at other firms. Before joining Wilde Law, Hal practiced personal injury law for seven years, for some of the largest personal injury firms in Utah, including as the head of the Spanish department of the oldest personal injury firm in Salt Lake. Hal has been a practicing attorney for 18 years and has experience in a variety of other legal fields as well, including family law, criminal law, and litigation.

Hal believes that justice must be accessible to all, and he has devoted significant time representing underserved communities.

While in school, Hal worked as a Spanish and Russian linguist for the U.S. Army Intelligence Corps. Hal graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in communication and a minor in Spanish. He then attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, although he still wears red on Saturdays in the fall. After graduation from law school, he clerked for the Second Judicial District Court, working closely with seven different judges and gaining insight into their decision-making processes. He then worked for a municipal defense litigation boutique firm handling tort and civil rights cases primarily in federal court, including a case that reached the United States Supreme Court. Hal has worked as a sole practitioner and as a prosecutor in Taylorsville’s Justice Court.

Hal also has reviewed and edited articles for,, and and spent many years as a copyeditor for the Utah Bar Journal.

When he’s not occupied with hockey, baseball, or football, Hal spends his free time strolling through the woods with his wife and their two golden retrievers.

Kevin Geyer
Kevin Geyer

Kevin Geyer joined Wilde Law as an associate in October 2023. However, he, Aaron, and Hal previously worked together at other firms specializing in injury law. Before joining Wilde Law, Kevin practiced personal injury law for three years at a local injury firm where he discovered he had a passion for helping injury victims. Kevin then spent a few years practicing in insurance defense litigation, where he gained valuable civil trial and motion practice experience.

Kevin’s motivation derives from a strong desire to help others. Kevin spent a significant amount of time in law school volunteering for legal advice clinics to help those with lower incomes.

A Los Angeles native, Kevin moved to Utah to attend Westminster University, where he graduated with honors and then decided he loved the mountains so much he stayed to attend law school at University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law. During law school, Kevin gained additional insight into civil and criminal law practice with clerkships with various governmental entities. He conducted many trials in a third-year practice internship with West Valley City’s Prosecutor Office.

When not occupied with work, Kevin enjoys spending time exploring Utah’s mountains and the many National Parks of the Mountain West with his wife. Kevin and his wife also share a love for dogs and have cared for many rescues over the years, including their current rescues – a German shepherd and German shepherd mix.
